architecture

The simple nave under a gable roof with a polygonal end has a circumferential plinth, baroque arched windows and a late Gothic ornamental frieze under the cornice labeled 1517. The pointed arched beveled portal has a wooden door from the beginning of the 16th century. The simple tower in the west with a Gothic core is groin-vaulted on the ground floor and has an octagonal baroque bell storey with chamfered round-arched sound windows and a double onion helmet. In the north a two-storey sacristy is built under a pent roof.

The four-bay long house stands under a needle cap barrel from 1753 on belt arches and stucco consoles. In the west is a late Gothic portal to the tower and above it is a second round-arched beveled tower portal. The lower sacristy has a groin vault. On the south wall of the nave is a fragment of the Last Judgment, probably from the 17th century. There are baroque apostle medallions.

Furnishing

The altar structure was built in 1720 by the carver Veit Mödlhammer. The altarpiece St. Nikolaus painted Sebastian Stief (1867). The console figures of St. Ulrich and Wolfgang and in the essay St. Michael was created by the sculptor Paul Mödlhammer (1720). The pulpit is marked 1661. There are console figures of Saints Peter, Paul and Nicholas from the 1st half of the 17th century and the figure of Immaculata from the middle of the 19th century.

The console figure of Christ as Good Shepherd around 1750 by the sculptor Johann Georg Hitzl was given to the deanery church in Seekirchen . Four panels around 1520 with three scenes from the life of St. Nicholas and a scene dedicated to St. Paul are in the Salzburg Museum .
