John Filip Ericsson (born May 25, 1882 in Gothenburg , † December 25, 1951 ) was a Swedish sailor .

Filip Ericsson, the Member of Göteborgs Kungliga Segelsällskap was, was at the Olympic Games in 1912 in Stockholm in the 10-meter class Olympic champion . He was the skipper of the Kitty , which took first place in both races of the regatta and thus won the competition in front of the Finnish boat Nina and the Russian boat Gallia II . The crew of the Kitty included Carl Hellström , Harry Rosenswärd , Paul Isberg , Herman Nyberg , Erik Wallerius , Humbert Lundén and Harald Wallin .

His great-granddaughter Lisa Ericson took part in the Olympic sailing competitions in 2012 and 2016 .
