Filip Trojan (born February 21, 1983 in Třebíč ) is a former Czech football player and today's coach . He is a youth coach at the German second division club SG Dynamo Dresden .

Active career

society

Filip Trojan completed a trial training session in Prague at the age of eleven and moved to the Czech capital a year later, where he lived with a host family. He played in Prague for two years in the higher class of the youth teams and became a youth national player in his country. At the U-16 European Championship in the Czech Republic in 1999, the talent scouts of FC Schalke 04 noticed the then 16-year-old and he got a youth contract in Gelsenkirchen . In Gelsenkirchen he lived in the football boarding school of FC Schalke 04.

After playing for Schalke for five years, his contract expired and he moved to VfL Bochum . Here he had a contract until 2007 that was not extended. In July 2007 Trojan moved to FC St. Pauli for two years . After he had performed convincingly in Hamburg in both years, the interest in him became very great due to his expiring contract. He turned down an offer from FC St. Pauli to extend his contract and moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga Mainz 05 on a free transfer . There he was seldom used in addition to four games by the 2nd team (Regionalliga-West). In August 2010, he was awarded to the second division club MSV Duisburg for the 2010/11 season . For his first appearance for his new club, Trojan came on the 1st matchday in the away game at promoted VfL Osnabrück , when he came on in the 76th minute for Sefa Yılmaz . In stoppage time of the game, he scored the 3-1 winning goal and thus his first goal in the first game for MSV.

In June 2011 Trojan terminated his contract with Mainz 05 and moved to Dynamo Dresden , where he signed a one-year contract. Here, too, he scored a goal in his first competitive game against FC Energie Cottbus . In his first year he made the most appearances in the Dynamo jersey with 32 league games alongside David Solga and achieved relegation with Dresden at the end of the season. In March 2012 Trojan's contract was extended to June 30, 2014.

National team

With the exception of the U-20 selection, Trojan went through all Czech junior national teams from the U-15 to the U-21 national team .

Career as a coach

In summer 2016, Trojan became the coach of the C2 Juniors (U-14) at Dynamo Dresden .

Private

Trojan has had a son since March 2013.
