Filip Zawada

Filip Zawada (born July 7, 1975 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish poet , musician ( bassist ) and photographer .

Life

Zawada studied chemistry at the Technical University of Wroclaw , cultural studies at the University of Wroclaw and photography at the Silesian University of Opava . Since 1997 he has been working at Ośrodek Postaw Twórczych in Wroclaw.

From 2002 to 2007 Zawada was bassist for the group Pustki , with whom he released two albums. In 2009 he founded the band Indigo Tree with Pete Levy . In October 2009 they released their debut album Lullabies of Life and Death , which was almost exclusively positively received by the press. In 2010 the second album Blanik followed .
