Filippa Duci

Filippa Duci , French Philippe Desducs , (* 1520 in Piedmont , † October 15, 1586 in Tours ) was a mistress of the French King Henry II.

Life

Filippa was a daughter of Gian Antonio Duci. During an Italian campaign, Filippa (1538) had an affair with the later French King Henry II. The relationship resulted in a daughter, she was named after Diana of Poitiers . A short time later, Filippa Duci married the nobleman Jean Bernardin de Saint Severin.
