Life

Ottoni started out in the film industry as a graduate of the London School of Film Technique in the late 1960s as an assistant director for Romolo Girolami and then as a screenwriter for Mario Bava . In 1972 he made his debut as a director with the ambitious La grande scrofa nera , which was then followed by ready-made goods (with sometimes long breaks between films), such as Die Klugscheißer from 1986, shot in the United States . His unusual comedy L'assassino è quello con le scarpe gialle (1995) presented the four actors of the comedian troupe “Premiata Ditta” in the leading roles.
