The Fin Nunatak is an 805 m high nunatak near the Wilkins Coast in Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises in the middle of the Casey Glacier .
The Australian polar explorer Hubert Wilkins photographed him on December 20, 1928 during an overflight. These aerial photographs were used for mapping by the American cartographer WLG Joerg between 1936 and 1937. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey took measurements of the nunatak in December 1960. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on August 31, 1962 after its shape, which is reminiscent of a Finn .
