Adalbert Mayer

Adalbert Mayer (* 1934 in Dinkelscherben ) is a German clergyman and canon lawyer .

Life

He was trained at the Collegium Georgianum in Munich . One week after his ordination on July 22nd, 1962 in the Ludwigskirche , he celebrated Primiz in Häder (spelled shards) . For two years he was a chaplain in Augsburg . He was then released to study canon law in Munich, where he was also a research assistant . Since its 1974 at the Canon Law Institute of the Augsburg diocesan priests taught University of Munich made promotion as a lecturer and since 1981 until the end of the summer term 2002 as a professor at the PTH Benediktbeuern . From 1974 to 2009 he was pastor of Wessobrunn , of which he has been an honorary citizen since 1984. He appeared in the role as a priest in an episode of For Heaven's Sake and the film As Far Your Feet With.
