The Wangen tax office in Wangen im Allgäu was established as the successor to the Wangen camera office after the camera offices in Württemberg were dissolved . The tax office is now a local authority of financial management in Baden-Wuerttemberg .
In 1922, property management was handed over to the Weingarten State Rent Office. From 1943 to 1977 the Leutkirch tax office was affiliated to the Biberach tax office as a branch office. The Wangen tax office has been responsible for part of the Ravensburg district since 1974 .
