Marie Šťastná
Marie Šťastná (born April 6, 1981 in Valašské Meziříčí ) is a Czech poet.
Life
Marie Šťastná studied art history and later also cultural history at the University of Ostrava .
In 2004 she was awarded the Jiří Orten Prize for the volume of poetry Krajina s Ofélií , which is awarded annually to authors under 30 who write in Czech. In 2010 she was the winner of the Dresden Poetry Prize .
Marie Šťastná lives in Prague . In addition to her work as a poet, she also devotes herself to jewelry design.
