Finn Karlsen (* 1952 in Upernavik ) is a Greenlandic politician .

Finn Karlsen, son of the kindergarten teacher Mina Hansen, was trained as a commercial assistant and then carried out various activities in Qaqortoq , Paamiut and Narsaq . In 1989 he was for the Atassut in the municipal council of the municipality of Narsaq selected. In 1995 he was first elected to the Inatsisartut . He stayed there for five legislative terms until 2013. In 2003 he was appointed Minister of Labor in Naalakkersuisut . For this he left the Narsaq parish council. In 2005 he became a member of the Nuuk Township Council and Minister of Fisheries and Hunting. From 2005 to 2009 he was chairman of Atassut, but in 2010 he moved to Siumut . In 2013 he was appointed Chairman of the Finance Committee. In 2014 he replaced Karl Lyberth as Minister for Fisheries, Hunting and Agriculture, but there were new elections that same year.
