Fiona Daniel
Fiona Daniel (born July 28, 1987 in Zurich ) is a Swiss singer and songwriter who plays guitar , autoharp and piano . She is the granddaughter of Doris Stauffer-Klötzer and Serge Stauffer .
Career
Shortly after the release of their debut album “Drowning” in April 2010, with which they entered the Swiss charts , they selected Pro Helvetia and the Montreux Jazz Festival for the “Artists in Residence” program at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. In summer 2012 her second album “Backyard” was released, which she recorded in collaboration with producer Katharina Nuttall (worked with Ane Brun and Wendy Mcneill, among others). Since then, Fiona Daniel has given concerts and tours in Switzerland, China , Sweden , Germany , Austria and Franceplayed. She performs live in various formations, sometimes with fellow musicians but also solo.
