Fiona O'Shaughnessy

Fiona O'Shaughnessy is an Irish actress . Her best-known role is that of Jessica Hyde in the British television series Utopia .

Life

O'Shaughnessy was born in Galway , County Galway , Ireland . At the age of 9, she and her family moved to Reading , England , where her father worked as an IT consultant. So far, she has mainly worked as a theater actress. She was seen as Salome at the Gate Theater in Dublin, also played in Dublin in The Shaughraun at the Abbey Theater and appeared in the premiere of Jim Nolan's Blackwater Angel at the Finborough Theater in London. Other roles at the Gale Theater include Arms and the Man , Oliver , The Importance of Being Earnest , Pride and Prejudice , Blythe Spirit , Present Laughter , See You Next Tuesday and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof . Since the late 1990s she has also appeared in film and television productions.
