Fiordimonte is a former Italian municipality ( comune ) with about 201 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2016) in the province of Macerata in the Marches , which existed until 2016. The municipality includes the places Alfi, Arciano, Marzoli, Nemi, Petrignano, Taro, Valle e Castello, Vico di Sopra, Vico di Sotto, Villanova di Sopra and Villanova di Sotto. Fiordimonte has been part of the newly formed municipality of Valfornace since 2017 through a merger with the former municipality of Pievebovigliana . Fiordimonte has an area of ​​21.22 km², is 569 m above sea level and about 42 kilometers southwest of Macerata in the Monti Sibillini National Park and belongs to the Comunità montana di Camerino . The administrative seat of the former municipality of Fiordimonte was in the district of Valle e Castello .
