The Fischbacherberg is a 371.2 m high mountain in the urban area of Siegens in North Rhine-Westphalia . The mountain is about 2 to 2.5 km west of the city center on the Siegberg .
The top of the Fischbacherberg is undeveloped. The south and east slopes are largely a residential area, next to which the vocational college for economics and administration is located below the tree line on the east slope . At the beginning of the mountain in the valley, there is a vocational college for technology in Siegen as well as a parking garage and a bus turning point. The Hüttentalstraße passes below the mountain , partly through the Ziegenberg tunnel through the mountain itself. The Emmy Noether campus of the University of Siegen is on the southern slope of the Fischbacherberg .
The L562 or Freudenberger Straße , which connects Freudenberg with Siegen, passes between the mountain and the neighboring, 346 m high Wellersberg .
On the mountain there were the pits Endurance , Hohe Aussicht , Friedericke (closed in 1858) and Philippsfreude .
