Fitzhugh Townsend
Samuel George Fitzhugh Townsend (born April 1872 in New York City , † December 11, 1906 there ) was an American fencer .
At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis , the foil team consisting of Arthur Fox , Charles Tatham and himself received silver, in the epee singles he finished fifth.
He died of typhus in 1906 and was buried in Trinity Cemetery in New York.
