Charles Tatham (born September 3, 1854 in New York City , † September 24, 1939 there ) was an American fencer .
Life
At the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis he took part in three fencing competitions and was able to win a medal in each. In foil fencing he won bronze in singles. In the team competition of foil fencing, in which he was defeated with a US selection of a mixed team (mixed team) , he won silver. In the individual competition with the sword, he finished second behind Ramón Fonst .
Charles Tatham is often incorrectly listed as a Cuban (for example in the IOC database) . However, he was an American.
