The Fixit Group is a manufacturer of building materials with headquarters in Freising . The Fixit Group is a holding company under whose roof several individual brands are bundled. In 2013 the company had a turnover of around 500 million euros.
Hasit was founded by Franz Haslberger sen. Founded in 1967 in Freising, the first plant went into operation in 1968 in nearby Eichenkofen . The Fixit company was bought by Hasit in 1997 and gave the holding company its name in 2006. Fixit goes back to a gypsum quarry in Switzerland founded in 1896. The oldest part of the company is Röfix , which emerged from a Röthis lime and brickworks founded in 1888 . Kreisel Qualitätbaustoffe was founded in Wiesbaden in 1976 and became a 100% subsidiary of Hasit in 2005. In 2016, the Swiss manufacturer Greutol was completely taken over.
