Röfix ( spelling : RÖFIX AG ) is an Austrian producer of mortar, screed and plaster. The company is part of the Fixit Group .
history
Röfix was founded in 1888 by Josef Wehinger and his brother. In 1924 his son Hermann Wehinger took over the lime distillery and produced sack lime for the first time. In 1936 the company's building was rebuilt and the first truck was purchased. 12 years later, Josef, Ludwig and Hermann Wehinger joined the company as partners. In the following years the company was continuously expanded and modernized. In 1982 the first plant was founded in Partschins , Italy . Today, in addition to Austria , Röfix has locations in Albania , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Bulgaria , Italy , Kosovo , Croatia , Montenegro , Switzerland , Serbia and Slovenia .
