Fjällräven AB ( Swedish for the arctic fox , AB for Aktiebolag ) is a Swedish company that specializes in outdoor power equipment and functional clothing has specialized.

The company, based in Örnsköldsvik , Sweden , was founded by Åke Nordin in 1960 and has since established a strong market position in Scandinavia . It is majority owned by the Swedish company Fenix Outdoor AB, which also includes the Hanwag and Primus brands . Fenix Outdoor AB is in turn owned by Fenix Outdoor International AG, a stock corporation traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange without a majority shareholder (as of June 2016) with its administrative headquarters in Zug , Switzerland.

Fjällräven organizes the annual Fjällräven Classic trekking competition . Fjällräven is purveyor to the royal family of Sweden.
