The Flabellinia are a group of amoebas within the Amoebozoa .

features

The Flabellinia are bare, mobile, amoeboid single-cell organisms. They are flattened, irregularly triangular, fan-shaped or disc-shaped; do not form elongated subpseudopods or tubular, cylindrical pseudopods : the shape does not change. The cytoplasm flows within the cell in multiple strands or without a distinct strand. The movement takes place with the help of an actin-myosin cytoskeleton . Centrosomes are absent.
