Flash Wolves is a Taiwanese esports organization . It was founded in 2013 as the League of Legends team. The organization now owns both teams and players in League of Legends and Overwatch .

League of Legends

The division in League of Legends , founded in 2013, appeared in Season 3 as IRONMEN. After performing well in the Taiwan e-Sports League, they were invited to the Regional Finals. In October 2013, the team then renamed themselves to Flash Wolves and earned the right to participate in the Riot Games sponsored Garena Premier League . After a mixed spring split 2014 and a relatively strong summer split 2014, the team qualified for the IEM Taipei, which was also won. After the Riot Games at the beginning of 2015 announced the establishment of a new Taiwanese league, the League Master Series, the Flash Wolves qualified directly for this and finished the spring split of the 2015 season in second place. By winning the IEM Taipei last year , the Flash Wolves were qualified for the IEM Katowice 2015 in which the team advance to the semi-finals. After a third place in the League Master Series Summer Split 2015 and victory in the regional qualification tournament against Hong Kong Esports, the Flash Wolves qualified for the 2015 World Cup . There they finished the tournament in the top 8 and got the unofficial title of “Korean Slayers “Because they were the only team to finish their group at the World Cup before a Korean team for two years .

After a dominant Spring Split 2016 in which the Flash Wolves were led by the jungle - midlane duo Hung "Karsa" Hau-Hsuan - Huang "Maple" Yi-Tang, the team was qualified for the mid-season invitational . There they were able to advance to the semi-finals before they lost 3-1 to Counter Logic Gaming . They also qualified for the 2016 World Cup by winning the League Master Series Summer Split 2016. There they lost to Cloud9 , SK Telecom T1 in the group stage. Even so, they were able to maintain their reputation as "Korean Slayers" as they could inflict SK Telecom T1's only defeat of the entire tournament. After a change in the AD-Carrie position from Hsiung "NL" Wen-An to Lu "Betty" Yu-Hung, the team was able to dominate the IEM Katowice 2017 against G2 Esports with a 2-1 win.
