Flavio Roma (born June 21, 1974 in Rome , Italy ) is a former Italian football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Roma began his professional career at Lazio in the 1991/92 season. There he played until the summer of 1995, with a short break in the 1993/94 season when he played on loan for three games for AC Mantova . Between 1995 and 2001 Roma played for various Italian clubs. These included FBC Unione Venice , US Fiorenzuola , US Foggia , AC Chievo Verona and FC Piacenza . In the 2001/02 season he moved to the traditional French club AS Monaco in Ligue 1 . For AS Monaco he made 166 Ligue 1 appearances and played 24 times at international level. On August 13, 2009, he moved to AC Milan . Nothing is known about the transfer fee. He still has a contract until summer 2012.
