coat of arms

The municipality's coat of arms dates from October 18, 1985. The lion is derived from the coat of arms of the von Soleuvre family (black lion on a silver field). The key is derived from the coat of arms of the provosts of Grevenmacher (coat of arms of Luxembourg with an additional key). The main colors, gold and red, are derived from the coat of arms of the Meysembourg family. The five flowers symbolize the five villages in the municipality.
