The Fletcher Bay is a bay on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is a side bay of the Langnes Fjord in the Vestfold Mountains . Weddell seals give birth to their young here.
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it on July 26, 1983 after Lloyd Fletcher, a physician at Davis Station in 1978, who was also involved in marking seals here that year.
