The Fletcher Ice Rise is a large, 160 km long and 64 km wide ice dome in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It lies on the southwest side of the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf .

Ronald F. Carlson of the United States Navy scouted, photographed, and sketched this survey while flying a Lockheed C-130 from McMurdo Station over the Ellsworth Mountains and back between December 14-15, 1961. The United States Geological Survey made a mapping based on Landsat recordings from 1973 to 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the ice dome in 1977 after the US polar researcher Joseph Otis Fletcher (1920–2008), who headed the polar program at the National Science Foundation between 1971 and 1974.
