The editors offer an overview of current developments, the legal framework and show concrete starting points for flexible personnel deployment for management and HR practice, also using case studies from practice.

content

Significant changes in the world of work are being achieved through the increasing flexibility of work. That is why more and more flexible working models are being used. New strategies for personnel deployment should take into account both the needs of companies and the interests of employees.

Initially, the authors define the modern world of work and provide an overview of current studies in this context. They show what leadership looks like in decentralized and digital employment relationships and what influence flexible work has on the health of employees. Thanks to concrete examples from the business world, executives and HR managers receive orientation on how to successfully implement the strategic approach of the Flexible Workforce in their HR processes and instruments. Because flexible employees increasingly want to be recruited digitally, the textbook also contains the most important recruitment tools and is dedicated to the legal framework for corresponding work assignments.

The textbook describes which forms of flexible working models already exist or are still being developed and shows how these can be combined. Selected practical examples from Endress + Hauser , Migros , PwC Switzerland , Coople (Schweiz) AG , Swisscom and Swissport can be found in the publication.
