Significant changes in the world of work are being achieved through the increasing flexibility of work. That is why more and more flexible working models are being used. New strategies for personnel deployment should take into account both the needs of companies and the interests of employees.
Initially, the authors define the modern world of work and provide an overview of current studies in this context. They show what leadership looks like in decentralized and digital employment relationships and what influence flexible work has on the health of employees. Thanks to concrete examples from the business world, executives and HR managers receive orientation on how to successfully implement the strategic approach of the Flexible Workforce in their HR processes and instruments. Because flexible employees increasingly want to be recruited digitally, the textbook also contains the most important recruitment tools and is dedicated to the legal framework for corresponding work assignments.
