Flight 13 Records is a German independent label from Freiburg im Breisgau . A mail order business and a shop are also operated under the same name.
Managing Director Tom Haller founded Flight 13 Records in the mid-1980s under the name Weed Productions as a label for his own bands Scarecrow and Laika. In collaboration with Ritchie Records, Flight 13 Records released albums by artists such as Die Aeronauten , 206, Bernadette La Hengst , Oiro and Kristof Schreuf . The office and the associated record store have been in the Freiburg district of Stühlinger since 2007 . The focus is on punk rock , hardcore , garage rock and records in general . A mail order catalog appears quarterly and is sent to more than 6000 recipients by post.
