Florentino Guimaraens

Juan Florentino Guimaraens (born March 14, 1894 in Soriano Department , † after February 1959) was a Uruguayan politician.

Guimaraens belonged to the Partido Colorado . After initially holding a mandate as deputy deputy for the Department of Soriano in the Cámara de Representantes from July 1, 1931 to February 14, 1932 , he was elected deputy for that department in the 31st and 34th to 36th legislative periods . 1955 followed a four-month period as senator. He was then Minister of Defense from May 1956 to June 1957 during the government of the National Council and then took over the Ministry of Construction , which he headed as Minister until February 1959.
