Florentius of Worcester
Florentius von Worcester also Florentius Wigorniensis (* before 1100; † July 7, 1118 ) was an English Benedictine monk and chronicler .
He was previously credited with creating the beginning of the Chronicon ex chronicis created by John of Worcester . Florentius added further details to Marianus Scotus ' work on the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle , but this work is now lost. However, Johannes could have used materials collected by Florentius.
Nothing is known about his life.
