Flori Mumajesi

Flori Mumajesi (born August 23, 1982 ), stage name: Flori , real name: Florian Mumajesi , is an Albanian singer, DJ and music producer.

Life

Flori Mumajesi first became known to a wide audience at the Kënga Magjike music competition . While his successes in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 remained rather modest, he was able to achieve a good third place in 2009 with the song Play Back . In the next, he represented his homeland Albania at the Balkan Music Awards with this song .

In 2011 Detaj ("Detail") was released, his only album to date. In the same year he took part in Top Fest 8 with the song Tallava . The song can be classified as a dance , but like many Albanian songs it contains elements from folk music, in Tallava especially from Roma music.

Tequila Vava , a collaboration with the Kosovar singer Albatrit Muçiqi , was released at the end of May 2011 . The dance song is Mumajesi's second song with Roma music elements after Tallava (April 2011). Both songs are very successful. On the YouTube video portal , Tequila Vava was viewed over 600,000 times in just three weeks.

In 2018, Flori won the Kënga Magjike event.
