Florian Ambru (* 1928 ) is a former Romanian football player and coach . He denied 107 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A .

Career as a player

Ambru began his career after the end of World War II in Ciocanul Bucharest in the highest Romanian league, the Divizia A . There he had his first meeting on September 8, 1946. When Ciocanul merged with Unirea Tricolor Bucharest to Dinamo Bucharest in May 1948 , Ambru came into the first team. During his time at Dinamo he was able to win the runner- up in 1951 , 1952 and 1953 , although he was not used regularly. At the beginning of the 1954 season, Ambru moved to Divizia B to Dinamo Bacau and ended his career after the season at the age of 26.

National team

Ambru was called up for a game in the Romanian national football team, which he played on May 8, 1950 against Albania .

Career as a coach

In the season 1956 supervised Ambru his former club Dinamo Bacau as head coach in the Divizia A . The then promoted had to relegate at the end of the season as bottom of the table.
