Florian Schöninger

Florian Schöninger (born January 7, 1983 in Gmunden ) is a former Austrian basketball player .

career

Schöninger played for the Swans Gmunden during his entire career (in the Bundesliga and temporarily also in the European Cup), at international level he played for the Austrian junior national team and later for the senior national team.

In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010 the 1.86-meter-tall construction player became national champion with Gmunden, and a total of six cup winners during his career. In the 2007/08 season he reached the round of 32 in the ULEB Cup with the "swans" , where they lost to the eventual winner of this European club cup, Joventut de Badalona with Demond Mallet , Ricky Rubio  and Rudy Fernandez .

Schöninger played for Gmunden in the Bundesliga until 2015.
