Florian Stahel (born March 10, 1985 in Zurich ) is a Swiss football player . He has been under contract with the FC Zurich U21 team in the Promotion League since July 2017 .

Career

The defender moved from FC Oerlikon to FC Zurich in 2000 . He worked his way up from reserve player to regular player and played the decisive pass in the winning goal against FC Basel on May 13, 2006 , which led to FCZ winning the championship in the 2005/06 season. He was also a member of Switzerland's U-21 national team . In August 2011, Stahel moved from FC Zurich to FC Luzern and in June 2014 to FC Vaduz . Stahel was temporarily a captain in Lucerne.

In July 2016, Stahel moved to FC Wohlen in the Challenge League , where he signed a contract until the end of June 2018.
