The Flowerdale River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

The river has its source around three kilometers east of the West Takone settlement in the Campbell Range . From there it flows first to the west and then to the north in the Pruana Forest Reserve . At the settlement of Kimberleys Hill it turns its course to the north-northeast to south of the settlement of Boat Harbor on the Bass Highway (A2). There it turns first to the east and then to the south. A little later it flows into the Inglis River at the Flowerdale settlement .
