The Bronze Age rock carvings from Fluberget (Riksantikvarens ID No. 24610) on Hestnesveien, west of Stavanger in southern Rogaland , discovered in 1879 are the largest petroglyph field in North Jæren in Norway . It is located on a rock in Hestnes near the Hafrsfjord .

Based on the design, the archaeologists differentiate between carvings made by hunters and gatherers and those made by arable farmers such as Fluberget's. Many of the rock carvings are boats. But you can also find hands, circles, rings, spirals and Y or Treudd shapes . Otherwise, the figures are geometric, painted in red and easy to recognize.

It is believed that Fluberget was the focal point of the area where people used to gather for religious festivals.
