The airport Dubbo ( IATA code : DBO , ICAO code : YSDU ) is a regional Australian commercial airport in the city of Dubbo in New South Wales . It has two paved slopes.

Currently (2015) there are only connections with Regional Express Airlines and QantasLink to Sydney and with Jetgo Australia to Brisbane . The latter route was started in summer 2015. The Royal Flying Doctor Service has a base at the airport; small operators offer flight services, and the Royal Australian Air Force occasionally uses the airfield for stopovers. The airport was the base of the airline Air Link , which served Sydney and several places in northern New South Wales from here . In 2014, 191,649 passengers used the airport.

The airport opened in 1935 after having previously used various fields for landings. A better slope was created during World War II. The terminal dates from 1970 and was expanded in 2005 and 2014. The airport is operated by the Dubbo City Council .
