The Kununurra Airport is a regional airport in Western Australia in the northwest of Australia about eight kilometers west of Kununurra .
The airport, which currently has a paved runway , is used by private planes as well as by passenger planes. Skywest Airlines and Airnorth are currently connecting Kununurra Airport to domestic destinations Argyle , Broome , Darwin and Perth .
