The Kenneth Kaunda International Airport ( IATA : LUN , ICAO : FLKK ; until 2011 Lusaka International Airport ) is the international airport of the Zambian capital Lusaka . It has been named after founding president Kenneth Kaunda since 2011 .

Airlines and Destinations

Lusaka is connected to several destinations within Africa by air, including Windhoek and Nairobi . The only long haul flights are currently operated by British Airways to London and Emirates to Dubai . The airport also served as the base of the three now defunct major airlines Zambia Airways , Zambian Airways and Zambezi Airlines .
