The Misrata Airport ( Arabic مطار مصراتة المدني, English : Misurata Airport ) is an airport of Misrata in Libya .
Location and directions
The airport is located near the town of Misrata. The airport area is on the road.
history
The airport was badly damaged in the civil war in Libya in 2011 , but was operational again by December 2011 thanks to funds from private business people.

The airport has various navigation aids. The rotating radio beacon (VOR) transmits on frequency : 117.10 MHz with the identifier: MIS . A distance measuring equipment (DME) is present.
