Pietro Severi
Pietro Severi (born June 28, 1903 in Pieve Sestina di Cesena , Italy , † March 25, 1984 ) was Bishop of Segni and later of Palestrina .
Life
Pietro Severi was ordained a priest on December 19, 1925 .
Pope Pius XII appointed him on June 21, 1948 auxiliary bishop in Palestrina and titular bishop of Germa in Galatia . He was ordained bishop on August 24, 1948 by the Bishop of Cesena Vincenzo Gili ; The co- consecrators were Francesco Gardini , Bishop of Bertinoro , and Danio Bolognini , Auxiliary Bishop in Bologna . On January 8, 1953, Pope Pius XII appointed him. to Bishop of Segni and Pope Paul VI. on November 29, 1966 as first full professor of Palestrina. He attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
On October 7, 1975, Paul VI. his age-related retirement.
