The Moheli Bandar airport There Eslam , also under the nickname Airport Moheli known is an airport near the town of Fomboni on to the Comoros belonging island Moheli .

The airport has a very simple terminal and is the only airport on the island of Mohéli. The airport is also served by the Comorian airline AB Aviation , which serves other destinations within the Comoros from here.

Incidents

On April 9, 2007, flight 611 of Comores Aviation crashed on the way from Anjouan to Mohéli (a LET L-410 ) when the aircraft shot over the runway after an aborted take-off. All 15 occupants survived, the aircraft was a total write-off.
