Comores Aviation International ( Compagnie Aérienne de l'Union des iles Comores ) was an airline in the Comoros based in Moroni and based at Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport . Flight operations were discontinued in September 2011. It was 60% state-owned.

The airline mainly offered scheduled flights between the islands of the Comoros as well as Madagascar and Tanzania. But charter flights were also carried out.

Incidents

On April 9, 2007, Flight 611 (a LET L-410) crashed on the way from Anjouan to Mohéli when the aircraft shot over the runway after an aborted take-off. All 15 occupants survived, the aircraft was a total write-off.
