Comores Aviation International ( Compagnie Aérienne de l'Union des iles Comores ) was an airline in the Comoros based in Moroni and based at Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport . Flight operations were discontinued in September 2011. It was 60% state-owned.

The airline was founded in 1996 .

The airline mainly offered scheduled flights between the islands of the Comoros as well as Madagascar and Tanzania. But charter flights were also carried out.
fleet
The fleet last consisted of the following aircraft:
- 2 Boeing 737
- 1 Avro RJ
According to the website, the fleet also consisted of Embraer EMB 120 and LET L-410 .
Incidents
On April 9, 2007, Flight 611 (a LET L-410) crashed on the way from Anjouan to Mohéli when the aircraft shot over the runway after an aborted take-off. All 15 occupants survived, the aircraft was a total write-off.
