The Nakhon Phanom Airport ( Thai : ท่าอากาศยาน นครพนม ; IATA Code : LAD ; ICAO code : series VTUW ) is the regional airport of the city of Nakhon Phanom in the northeast region of Thailand , the Isan .

It is located about 15 kilometers west of the city center of Nakhon Phanom, and has an asphalt runway at 179 meters above sea level with a length of 2,440 meters.

Scheduled traffic has increased significantly recently: between 2011 and 2015 the number of passengers increased ninefold to almost 300,000. There are only connections with Bangkok-Don Mueang .
