The Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport ( Thai : ท่าอากาศยาน นครศรีธรรมราช ; ICAO code : VTSF; IATA code : NST) is a national Thai airport.
Location and general
The airport is located about ten kilometers north of the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat . Only domestic flights are currently operated. In 2015, 1.24 million passengers were handled.
The airport also has a helicopter base operated by the energy company Chevron , which operates numerous daily flights to the oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Thailand from here .
