Thai Lion Air was founded in 2013. It is a 49 percent subsidiary of the Indonesian Lion Air .

Thai Lion Air has been the first operator of the Boeing 737 Max 9 since March 2018 .

Destinations

Thai Lion Air mainly offers domestic connections between Bangkok and other Thai airports. There are also flights to destinations in Southeast Asia .

A codeshare connection between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur is operated by Malindo Air , also a subsidiary of Lion Air.
