Phuket Airlines (shortened to Phuket Air on the outside ) was a Thai charter airline based in Bangkok and based at Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi Airport .
history
Phuket Airlines was founded in 1999 and began operating in 2001. At times she also flew to London and Dubai , but technical problems with the old Boeing 747 in use meant that these flights had to be discontinued in April 2005. In addition to the Boeing 747, the Boeing 737-200 and NAMC YS-11 were also used at times .
At the end of August 2005, Phuket Airlines was blacklisted by the French Aviation Authority. When the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union was published at the end of March 2006 , Phuket Airlines was also found here, but was removed from this again in March 2007.
Phuket Airlines had ceased operations under its own name since the summer of 2006. Since then she has leased her planes to other airlines such as Saudi Arabian Airlines . As of July 2013, however, the company no longer owned any aircraft and has since ceased operations.
