The airline was founded in 1995 by Piya Bhirom Bhakdi, chairman of Boon Rawd Brewery . First of all, it should only meet the executive's constant needs for air travel. In 1997 scheduled flights were started. Initially it was planned, e.g. B. to offer scheduled flights to Scandinavia with a Boeing 747 . Between 1995 and 2004, PBair mainly flew on national routes, serving mainly regional airports in codeshare with Thai Airways . The managing director of PBair was flight captain Jothin Pamon-Montri.

An international destination was also served in Vietnam for the first time since 2004/2005. Their motto was "The great little airline". The frequent flyer program was called the Sean S'BY Pass . There were no graduations according to miles flown in this program. Unusually, no plastic customer card was issued either.
