The Orenburg airport - Zentralny Ju. A. Gagarin is the international airport of the Russian city of Orenburg and named after the first cosmonaut . The airport is 28 km east of Orenburg. Until its full integration into the Aeroflot subsidiary Rossija in March 2016, the Orenair airline had its headquarters at the airport. Today the regional airline Orenburschje is still based here. The airport is operated by an Orenburg Oblast company.
