The Phetchabun Airport ( Thai : ท่าอากาศยาน เพชรบูรณ์ ; ICAO code : VTPB) is a regional airport in the district ( Amphoe ) Lom Sak of Phetchabun province in the northern region of Thailand .

General

The airport consists of an airport terminal with check-in , departure and arrival areas . There is no passenger boarding bridge .

The airport has an asphalt runway with a length of 2100 meters.

Airlines and destinations

Phetchabun Airport is a public airport with scheduled flights from Bangkok-Don Mueang Airport . Scheduled flight operations were suspended for a few years from 2013 due to insufficient demand.

Phetchabun is temporarily used for military purposes and can be reached by private jets.

Nok Air wanted to reactivate flight operations to Phetchabun. From June 2, 2018, a weekly flight from Don Mueang was offered on Mondays and Saturdays. The flights were canceled again in August 2018.

The airport is currently not served by any scheduled airline.
